NEW OPPORTUNITIES IN OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH
Conducting Medical History Questionnaire (MHQ) reviews, ELMEs and MAEs for candidates applying for roles in the ADF
Reviewing previous MHQs, ELMEs and any relevant medical and psychological reports
Reviewing Unit Medical Records (UMR) and reports (mandatory and discretionary) relevant for determining the recruiting medical classification (MRC), medical employment classification restrictions (MEC) and/or fitness for enlistment
Providing referral letters
Reviewing blood borne virus pathology results
Submitting medical suitability requests
Undertaking 'migrations' when required in instances where the candidate changes role preferences and the MRC/MEC need to be reviewed
There are a range of opportunities available nationally, with commencement in 2024 at your convenience
Must be an Australian citizen and
must hold or have the ability to maintain an AGSVA Baseline Security Clearance
Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Additional qualifications or experience in Occupational Medicine
Valid CPR (HLTAD009) certification
Valid Working with Children Check (or state equivalent)
National Police Clearance issued within the last 3 months
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to navigate electronic health records/systems and other ICT systems
Strong clinical skills with an ability to provide both general and occupational health care
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary team
Commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care and occupational health
